Repower Balcombe – Community Fund and AGM

Since our foundation in 2013 we have donated in excess of £50,000 to local energy efficiency projects, including LED lighting in Bramble Hall and the Balcombe Club. We now have eight solar generation sites, with the hosts all benefiting from lower electricity costs whilst providing our shareholders with a fair return. We have recently been approached by both St. Mary’s Church and The Parish Rooms regarding support for LED lights and are now open for further requests for funding support from local groups.

If you have an energy efficiency related project in mind, especially one where limited funds prevent you from moving forward, please visit our website for further details and for how to apply.

Repower Balcombe AGM

With the relaxation of Covid restrictions, we expect to hold our AGM at Bramble Hall starting at 11:00 am on Saturday 9th April 2022. A highlight of our AGM will be a presentation on Our Energy Transition to a Zero Carbon Future, given by Tim Green, a Balcombe resident, one of our directors, and Professor of the Energy Futures Lab at Imperial College.
