I’m so proud of the lovely children from our village school who are putting on ‘Ernie’s Incredible Illucinations’ this weekend (they weren’t able to do their special ‘Junior Production’ at school for obvious reasons) I’m only sorry that due to covid restrictions (and despite having 4 shows) we are already at capacity, with the only vague possibility of space being the Saturday matinee. I do ask a favour though. Due to covid rules we have to have both fire exits and windows open while we are performing to ensure ventilation. As you can imagine our small children are having to find very big voices to fill the Victory Hall and any noise from outside could ruin the whole quest. I’m sorry to ask this but could people around the hall area car park possibly try and be really quiet between 2-3.15 and 6.30-7.45 on Saturday and Sunday? I’m just worried that a circular saw or strimmer could ruin their big moment. Having not been able to be all together at school in the summer (covid rules), and having had all sorts of rehearsal challenges (like having to rehearse on zoom due to covid testing) this performance has been very hard won and the parents are just really keen that nothing spoils their big moment! Thank you!
