I hereby give notice that the eighth Annual Members’ Meeting of Balcombe Community Pub Ltd will be held in the Forest Room, Balcombe Social Club, on Wednesday, 22 May 2024, commencing at 8.00 pm, to conduct the business set out in the agenda below.

Agenda

1. Welcome and apologies
2. Consideration of the minutes of the seventh Annual Members’ Meeting held on 10th May, 2023
3. Any matters arising therefrom.
4. Chairman’s report (included in the Annual Accounts)
5. Presentation of the Annual accounts of the Society for the year ended 30th November, 2023
6. Update on proposed building works.
7. Consideration of audit arrangements for the Annual Accounts of the Society.
8. Election of members of the Management Committee.
   In accordance with the Rules of the Society, Sara Hill, Tim Murrills and Julie Rezac will each vacate their membership of the Management Committee at the end of this meeting. Julie and Tim have indicated their willingness to stand for re-election, but Sara has declined to do so.
   Any member of the Society who wishes to stand for membership of the Management Committee must so notify the Secretary by email or in writing by not later than 17th May 2024.
9. Questions from members and any other business.

including a statement (not exceeding 150 words) explaining how you feel you will contribute to the work of the Committee, which will be published on the website in advance of the General Meeting.

The closing date for applications is 12:00 midnight on 17th May, 2024
