Would you like to volunteer at Wings Museum?

Wings Museum in Brantridge Lane serves as a permanent memorial to all those who served in World War Two and beyond.

They are looking for volunteers to help them continue their good work.

They are not asking for a big time commitment, just one day a month would be a big help and enable Wings Museum to remain open to the public.

They will be happy to give full training for volunteers both before starting and as their time progresses.

Below is a link to the website which will tell you about their activities and the kind of things they hope to get new volunteers involved in but they wish to stress that ‘’front of House’’ is particularly in need of new people….. To help attend and monitor displays, and chat to the general public. Each display has all the history and information associated with it, but it is often nice to point out specific items of particular interest to visitors. Above all, we demonstrate the “Wings Museum Friendly Welcome” to all of the visitors to the museum.
