Fleur’s Sunday Dance Club – Fund Raising for Camp Cambodia 2021
Hello, I am Fleur and I am 13 years old. I live in Balcombe and I am raising money to go on Camp Cambodia, a volunteer work expedition with 35 students from my school, Warden Park Secondary Academy. We are going to Cambodia in July 2021 and will be helping communities with building projects, tree planting and water irrigation, and some school projects.
Dancing is my passion and I am running a fun Sunday dance club to help with my fundraising. I started dancing when I was 6 years old and train at Gielgud Academy of Performing Arts, studying Grade 5 ballet, jazz and modern dance, as well as drama and musical theatre. All dance sessions are assisted by my adult sister, Harriet who currently attends Ariel Theatre Company. Harriet has over 13 years experience in modern dance, musical theatre and drama.
Please bring your children – aged 3 to 6 years – to my first fun dance club on Sunday 15th December. Places are limited to 12 children per age group as shown in my poster, so please book your place in advance via firstname.lastname@example.org. I can’t wait to teach them dance movements to familiar and much loved sound tracks, as well as warm up and stretching.
A parent or carer will need to stay for the duration of dance session & my parents are running a cafe for parents & carers whilst your child dances. You will be able to enjoy hot or cold refreshments with a yummy choice of cakes!
Your child will need to wear comfortable clothing, plimsolls or trainers for the dance session and please can they bring a water bottle.
Thank you for supporting my fundraising for Camp Cambodia!
